Peace Of Mind

Warranties

Our work is backed by a workmanship warranty, and we install products from manufacturers like TimberTech and Wolf that carry their own material warranties. We'll walk you through the specifics for your project.

Two Layers Of Protection

Workmanship & Materials

Every project we build in the Charlotte area is protected on two fronts: our workmanship warranty covers how the project was built, and manufacturer warranties cover the materials themselves. Together they cover the outdoor space as a whole — and we put the specific terms for your project in writing before we build.

Our Side

What a Workmanship Warranty Covers

A workmanship warranty is the deck builder's promise about the labor — the parts of the project a material warranty doesn't touch. Most problems that show up on a deck, pergola, or screened porch in the first years aren't failed boards; they're installation issues. Our workmanship warranty stands behind the way your project was put together.

Structural Installation

Footings, framing, ledger attachment, and flashing — the work that determines whether a deck stays solid and dry for decades.

Finish Details

Fasteners, railing attachment, stairs, and trim installed the way the manufacturer and the building code intend.

Our Accountability

If something we built isn't right, we come back and make it right. Reliability and accountability are core values of how we operate.

The Manufacturers

Material Warranties

The products we install carry their own manufacturer warranties. Composite decking from TimberTech, Trex, and Wolf is backed by 25-year to limited-lifetime warranties depending on the line — covering the boards against material defects like structural failure, and on capped lines, fading and staining. The exact terms vary by product line, which is why we go over them with you when you choose materials.

The Azenco Outdoor pergolas we install are precision-engineered aluminum with an AAMA 2604 powder-coated finish built to stay vivid and corrosion-resistant through Carolina seasons, and they carry Azenco Outdoor's own product warranty.

One thing many homeowners don't realize: material warranties assume the product was installed to the manufacturer's specification — joist spacing, fasteners, ventilation, and clearances all matter. As a TimberTech Certified Contractor and Azenco Outdoor partner, we install to spec, so the material warranty protecting your outdoor space actually holds.

If Something Comes Up

How a Warranty Concern Works

Start with one call to us — you don't need to figure out whether an issue is workmanship or material. We'll come look at it, diagnose what's going on, and tell you honestly which coverage applies. If it's our work, we fix it. If it's a material issue, we help you document the problem and work through the manufacturer's claim process, since we know what they ask for.

Questions about coverage on a project you're planning? Ask during your consultation — we'll walk you through the written warranty terms alongside the design and the quote, or call us at (704) 610-3204. You can also read more about the materials we install on our services pages.
